Droppin' Bad Habits... but not weight

My entire life I've struggled with my weight. Some of you may relate and feel that instant connection, while others may be more like my brother. He can eat an entire buffet and actually lose weight in the process. Don't worry, this is not about him... or about weight loss. This is about financial gain and progressing in my journey to financial freedom.
What does that actually mean? Will I be free of financial obligation? free of the need of money? free of debt? I honestly don't have a clue. It sounds good though. What I want it to mean is this; I will no longer be slave to my nonexistent budget. It means when I get paid I will tell my money what its job is and it will no longer force me to do its bidding. It means crossing into that forbidden land of adulthood where the people with plans frolic in budgets, cash envelopes, trackers, savings challenges, cash trays, and prepaid vacations! If you know, then you know and you are frolicking. If you don't... then welcome. It's about to get real. You're not going to like what I have to say and you may even call me a fool. That's okay. I'll be here waiting for you.
Feeling a bit daring today? Try this. Write out every single dollar you've spent this week. Track what you've spent, where you've shopped and which bills you've paid. How much of that was a need vs want? How much did you save? How much of that did you charge? Did you pay it off with cash? Did you increase your debt? Was any of that spending planned? Most importantly, did you go above your income threshold? ...wow... right? Even if you're living within your means, like I was. Are you saving, investing, and planning? What's your weekly or monthly budget? So that is where my story (and hopefully yours) begins.

Oh wow this got me thinking! I love the idea of writing down this weeks spend and categorising it; need vs want!! I’m going to evaluate my spend from this week ❤️
